Rey Juan Carlos University receives at its Vicálvaro Campus the Fourth Conference on Input-Output Analysis. The Organizing Committee is honored to continue the adventure started in Oviedo in 2005 and has continued in Zaragoza and Albacete.
We are convinced that the Input-Output Analysis and methodologies that are emerging using Input-Output Tables and Social Accounting Matrices have a promising future in science and, therefore, in making policy decisions..
Multisectoral models allow us to analyze many different areas of the economic structure of countries and regions; they allow us to integrate economic data with environmental data, giving us a vision not only economic but also social of the situation we are analyzing.
The title of the conference, "Strategic sectors for a new economic model" aims to encourage participants to put their knowledge at the service of the search for ideas, solutions to problems and suggestions for improvement, which help us overcome these uncertainty times.
